Your details, step by step

Privacy in plain steps: reserve your ride and see who reads each detail you send

This page follows a request to reserve a ride from the moment you press send: what the desk writes down, who sees which part and when, how long it is kept and how to ask for a correction. Companies asked about a car learn about the ride, never about you. Only the company whose fare you accept gets your name and number, and nothing you send is sold.

Effective date and who answers for it

This policy takes effect on September 27, 2026. This site is run by Classic Car Cruise LLC. The owner is a limited liability company formed under California law, and its desk works from an office in Irvine; the contact page prints the address, the phone number and the hours the line is open. Here, the desk means that owner and the people who answer its form, phone and email.

Everything a request can hold

To find a car of the right size and send you a fare in writing, the desk needs a handful of facts about the ride and one way to reach you. A request sent through the reserve form or given by phone can hold:

  • Your name, mobile number and, if you choose to add one, an email address
  • The street address for the pickup or drop-off, its town and the airport
  • The date, with the pickup time or the time the flight lands
  • The flight number and the terminal
  • How many riders and child seats, and the load: bags, gear, strollers and cases
  • Anything you type into the free-text note, such as each child's age and seat

The form also records whether you check the separate box, unchecked at the start, that lets the desk and the one company you accept call or text your number about this request only. The flight number lets the company time the free wait and goes on its trip record for John Wayne Airport and LAX, with the terminal at LAX.

Logs the host keeps

The service that hosts this site writes a short technical log of each page request, such as the IP address that asked, the browser used, the page and the time. The host holds these logs under its own retention rules, apart from the request records described in the next section.

Kept three years, then deleted

The desk keeps each request, the written fare sent for it and the record of the permit look-up it made on the company for three years, and then deletes all of it. Keeping them together lets the desk answer a later question about a ride from what was asked and what was promised in writing.

HTTPS and a short list of readers

Every page of this site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form travels encrypted between your browser and the host. Once a request arrives, the request, its written fare and the look-up record are open only to the people of the desk.

Which company learns what, and when

Details travel in two stages. While the desk is still asking local companies for a car, each one hears only about the ride: its date and time, the pickup town, the airport, the number of riders and the load, and any child seats, extra stop or longer wait you ask for, without a street address, so its written fare can price them. No company learns your name, number or email at this stage, and one that is not chosen never does.

Once you say yes to one written fare, that company alone receives your name, mobile number and email, if you gave one, with the street address and your note, so it can send its written confirmation and reach you on the day, for that ride only. Beyond those two stages, details reach only:

  • The services the desk runs on: web hosting, the form relay, email and phone
  • A public authority, when the law requires it
  • A successor, if the business is ever sold

Nothing sold, nothing handed on for marketing

The desk sells no personal details and rents none out. No one receives them to advertise to you, and the desk sends no newsletters. The box you check on the form covers calls and texts about that one request, from the desk and from the company you accept. Reply STOP to any text and the texts end.

Payment happens off this site

This site never takes a payment, and no page of it asks for a card number. The desk never charges riders. You pay the company that drives your ride, by card in the car or by the means its confirmation describes, so any card details go to that company, never to this site.

Load counts your browser can keep

Counting bags and gear takes a minute, so a small box offers to remember the numbers on your own device, and it asks first. Choose Keep my load counts and your browser stores each count you have changed in the form, counts set before you answered included, in its local storage for this site, then keeps up with later changes. Choose Keep nothing and only that answer is stored, so the box stops asking.

Those counts stay in your browser and reach the desk only inside a request you choose to send. To remove them, clear this site's stored data in your browser settings; the box then asks again. A privacy signal from your browser clears them too, as the next section explains.

A refusal your browser sends for you

The site reads Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control alike, as a no to keeping load counts. When your browser sends either signal, the next page you open deletes any stored counts and any earlier answer, and the box never appears. The counts and that answer are the only things this site's own script stores in a browser, so that is where the signal acts.

Paid search ads and the notice they would need

Today these pages keep outside tools to a minimum: fonts, scripts and pictures load from this site's own host, the form hands its contents only to the relay that carries them to the desk, and no ad measurement runs on any page. If the desk ever measures which paid search ads bring requests, this page will first name the kind of tool, what it records and how to opt out, under a new effective date.

Seeing or correcting what the desk holds

Questions about your details go to mydetails@classiccarcruise.com. Ask for a copy of what the desk holds about you, or point out a wrong name, number or address to have it fixed; every such message gets a written answer within 30 days. If a ride is still ahead, the correction also goes to the company you accepted, which confirms it in writing.

Updates announced by date and by email

When this policy changes, the new effective date replaces the old one at the top of the page. Anyone whose request is still open at that moment and who left an email address also receives an email saying what changed.

Adults who reserve, and the children riding along

This site is written for adults, and every request should come from one. When children ride along, an adult sends the request and enters how many child seats are needed. The note may also carry each child's age and the seat each one rides in. The note itself goes only to the company whose fare you accept, so that company brings the right seat; companies asked before your yes never see it.
